A root vegetable that emerged from the soil in the shape of a naked couple – complete with all the correct anatomical features – has become a tourist attracting in the Chinese province of Shandong. The fleece flower root was spotted in a market by Mr Fan, who bought it for 600 yuan – more than £40. He has it on display in his house, and visitors now travel from miles to see it.
